Why It’s Fixed-Price
I don’t quote per project for the Web Starter Package because there’s nothing to quote.
The scope is fixed, so the price is fixed. You know exactly what you’re paying and exactly what you’re getting before you commit to anything.
If your business needs more than the core package, extra pages, advanced functionality, and ongoing SEO are all available.
The starting point is always the same: £500, no surprises.
A 50% deposit gets the project started, with the balance due within seven days of completion. Payment is by bank transfer.
Your site is delivered in 7 to 10 working days from the point I receive your completed intake form.
How Payment Works
What Happens After the First Year
The £500 covers building your site plus your domain, hosting, and email for twelve months. Those renew annually, so there’s a cost to keep the site live after the first year.
From year two, hosting and your email address are £65 per year. Additional mailboxes are £15 each per year. Your domain renews at whatever the registrar charges that year, passed on at cost with no markup.
Maintenance and content update packages are available if you want them, but they’re optional rather than assumed.
Your domain is registered and managed by me during the contract. If you move elsewhere, there’s a one-off £75 transfer fee.
Questions About the Web Starter Package
What’s included for £500?
A three page website (Home, About and Contact), your own .co.uk or .com domain, 12 months of hosting, one professional email address, SEO-ready setup, up to 10 optimised images, a contact form and two rounds of revisions. The price is fixed, so there’s nothing added later.
How long does it take?
Seven to ten working days from receiving your completed intake form. The intake form covers your content, images and preferences, so the sooner it’s back, the sooner your site goes live.
How does payment work?
A 50% deposit starts the project, and the balance is due within seven days of completion. Payment is by bank transfer only. Fees already paid are non-refundable.
Do I own my domain?
I register your domain in my name for convenience, so you don’t have to deal with registrars or renewals. If you’d rather it was in your name from the start, just say and I’ll set it up that way. If you move elsewhere later, I’ll transfer it to you for a one-off fee of £75.
What does it cost after the first year?
£65 a year covers hosting and your email address. Extra mailboxes are £15 each per year, and your domain renews at whatever the registrar charges, passed on at cost with no markup.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes, you can have your own login. Most clients choose a maintenance plan instead, because I take care of updates and changes, and the site stays in good shape. If you edit the site yourself and something breaks, fixing it is charged separately.
What if I need more than three pages?
Extra pages are available from £130 each, with the exact price agreed before any work starts. You can start with three pages and add more as your business grows.
Is the website set up for Google?
Yes. Every site is built with clean code, proper meta titles and descriptions, optimised images and a structure search engines can read. That gives it a solid foundation. Where it ranks depends on your competition, and I offer dedicated SEO packages if you want ongoing help.
